Hi, I’m Shaeline
I’m so happy you’re here—thank you for taking the time to get to know me.
When my family and I moved to Halifax is when I decided to turn my dream of becoming a full-time photographer into a reality. What I love most about this work is the opportunity to connect with so many amazing beautiful humans and capture moments that will be cherished for years to come.
My family are at the heart of everything I do. They inspire me, keep me grounded, and remind me every day why this work is so meaningful to me. Being a wife, a mom, and an entrepreneur has given me the opportunity to build a life rooted in family, storytelling, and creativity.
On most days, you’ll find me working from home, often with a chai or coffee in hand, our pup nearby, and the rhythm of family life unfolding around me. I love spending time outdoors, staying active, creating calm and organized spaces, and taking any opportunity to be near the ocean.
Summer is my favourite season. It’s filled with everything I love most—camping trips, beach days, sunshine on my little deck oasis, road trips, and time spent with friends and family. I’m also passionate about interior design, staying active, trying new recipes, and enjoying good music.
Through my photography, I aim to capture movement, light, and genuine emotion. I believe in creating a relaxed, comfortable, and simple environment where real moments can unfold naturally. It’s such an incredible honour to document these memories for you—moments that you’ll be able to feel all over again every time you look back at your images.
Thank you for being here—it means the world to me.

My Story & Philosophy
I remember the day my Grandpa shared stories of his experiences in England during the Second World War—sitting together, looking through black and white photographs of the places he had been, hearing the memories that brought them to life. I remember my mom doing the same—sharing stories from old photos of family members and gatherings from before I was born, and how much those moments meant to her.
In our last home, I created a wall filled with wedding photos from our parents’ and grandparents’ generations. Every time I looked at them, I felt the weight and beauty of those stories. That’s when I knew I wanted to capture memories like these—through imagery that not only looks beautiful, but holds meaning for years to come.
Before photography, I was a teacher—and I truly loved it. Watching children learn, grow, and discover the world around them was something special. But I also saw just how quickly they changed. That’s where my passion for capturing newborns and families began—freezing those fleeting moments in time so you can look back and remember their silly personalities, the funny faces, the endless energy, and all the little things that make them who they are right now.
People and relationships are at the heart of everything. They grow, shift, and evolve over time—but photographs allow us to hold onto a piece of those moments forever.
Let’s capture them together.
I believe every stage of life tells a love story—from meeting your person, to getting engaged, married, and growing your family. Each chapter reveals a deeper kind of love you never knew existed. These are the moments that matter, and the ones you’ll never regret preserving.
I believe that when my clients hire me they are hiring me to capture their story through my lens. To capture moments that they don’t normally see or aren’t able to appreciate fully in the moment.
I can’t wait to connect with you.
“When you find someone who captures moments exactly how you see them, you hold on for dear life and hope they don't ever leave! That, for us, is Shaeline.”
